Heartsaver CPR / AED & First Aid
Please be advised that there is no "re-certification" class for this level of training. The class is offered as described below and it does not require a previous certification to attend.
Heartsaver CPR teaches rescuers to recognize and assist with life threatening emergencies, heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking. The modules for AED and First Aid can be added if student requires. Course length: from 2 to 4.5 hours depending on the modules taken.
First Aid teaches rescuers to recognize life-threatening emergencies, and skills to help maintain life from the critical time following the emergency until arrival of medical services. It meets OSHA and State guidelines. The course covers:
- General Principals
- Medical Emergencies
- Injury Emergencies

The Pediatric First Aid is a comprehensive program for facilities applying for recognition by certifying agencies like NAEYC. It exceeds State requirements. This course is about 6 to 7 hrs long depending on the optional modules taken. Pediatric First Aid is a course that is offered by special request only.
