This course is for businesses or individuals who need to meet OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training requirements.  This one hour course is designed for workers in the commercial market who must receive training per OSHA Standard 1910.1030, and covers:

• how to protect oneself from bloodborne pathogens in the workplace

• what to do when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace

• the right steps to take to clean oneself and the area involved when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace

• how to report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace.

Per Federal guidelines BBP training is valid for one year and so requires an annual renewal.

Go to  www.onlineaha.org and click on course catalog.  Scroll down towards the bottom and you will see the Bloodborne Pathogens online class option.   The cost is currently $15.95 and you will be able to complete and print your certificate directly from American Heart Association's website. 

Action CPR does not offer a regular class schedule for BBP but can offer special times for classes of five or more.  The cost is $25.00 per person.
