BLS Healthcare Provider online offers a flexible training option for healthcare providers.  How it works:

Part 1. You complete the cognitive portion of the course, on a computer with Internet access. You will have online access to current textbook.  A certificate of completion is available to print when done and must be brought in to complete Part 2.

Part 2. Come in to perform the skills test at a time scheduled in advance.  You view the film clips related to the skill pror to demonstration.  You must be able to demonstrate skills without prompting. The skills tested will be:

1. Adult single rescuer CPR

2. AED operation

3. One and two rescuer Infant CPR

A skill checklist is used to evaluate.  If you are unsuccessful on your first attempt, you examine the checklist view the film clip and reattempt the skill.  Upon successful completion, you are issued a genuine American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Course Completion Card.

If you purchase the online portion from AHA and only need a skill test, you must enter the certificate number and the date completed in the comments box at checkout before scheduling the skill check.  We are not able to provide a skill test or card for other "lookalike" online programs.  

You may want to call first with any questions before using this option as there are NO REFUNDS available once your payment is processed!  When your payment is processed you will be e-mailed a keycode and the instructions on how to activate the program.

BLS Healthcare Provider "traditional"  Provides information on adult, child and infant CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios and use of bag-valve mask.  Conscious and unconscious airway obstruction, automated external defibrillation.  This class is great for those taking it for the first time who prefer a traditional instructor led course. Course Length: about 4.5 hours 

BLS Healthcare Provider "traditional renewal"  If you prefer the traditional instructor led course, this is for you.  You must bring your current unexpired American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card to this class.  If you don't have your current card the BLS online is an option. Course Length: about 3 hours. 

Intended Audience: Healthcare providers, physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMT’s, respiratory, physical and occupational therapists, nursing students, any personnel licensed or certified in thier field as required by employer.

You may pay online or cash only at the door on the day of the class.  No personal checks.  If you pay by credit card you must pay here online.  Don't pay if you have only one specific day available, since the class on that day may be full and there is a $15.00 cancellation fee.
