HeartCode ACLS

HeartCode ACLS is American Heart Association's Official e-Learning Program

Don't be disappointed by "copycats"

HeartCode ACLS offers an alternative to the traditional course. It allows the user to complete the cognitive, written exam and skill requirements for the official A.H.A.’s ACLS course.  You receive the SAME course completion card as issued for the traditional 16 hour course.

HeartCode ACLS can be used for initial or renewal certification.  It provides the opportunity to learn at your own pace with instant feedback and debriefing before moving on.  You have 32 cumulative hours of testing time.  The student can pause anytime to review material, then return to timed testing.

  • CME/CEH/CE credit provided by A.H.A.
  • Emphasis on team approach and high quality CPR for patient survival
  • Practical application of ECG rhythm recognition and pharmacology

Course completion consists of two separate elements:

  • Part I the computer-based cognitive portion
  • Part II demonstrating skills using a voice-assisted manikin in our office

HeartCode ACLS includes:

  • Pre-course self assessment
  • Team dynamics lesson
  • Ten interactive patient scenarios (you must pass or a different scenario replaces the missed one)

To get started:

  • Purchase the code from this site, it will be e-mailed to you in 2-3 hours along with instructions on how to use.
  • Print out your Part I certificate. Call or e-mail to schedule a date to perform Part II skill test
  • Card is mailed or available for pick up in about 10 days

PLEASE NOTE:  If you have limited hand or wrist strength, the compressions required for Part II may be difficult.  Since the computer issues a PASS or FAIL we can not guarantee you will pass. You may want to call first with any questions before using this option as there are NO REFUNDS available once your payment is processed!

Skill test times are available by appointment, and times are flexible.
